After qualifying I worked in the NHS to get a sound experience in all aspects of general dentistry, including oral surgery. In 1992 I embarked upon a post graduate education in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Having completed hundreds of cosmetic cases and satisfied patients I felt challenges lay ahead in implant dentistry to restore missing teeth without having to cut down further teeth to restore them by bridges. The last 20 years have been devoted to intensive training courses here and in the USA in Implantology including certificate in Implantology with Dr Hilt Tatum father of implant dentistry. I am a partner and a non-practicing dentist at Fiveways Dental.
