Hi, I’m Helen.

I’ve worked in dentistry for over 24 years, and from the very beginning, I’ve had a passion for caring for and helping people.

My journey started in 2000 as a bright-eyed 16-year-old trainee dental nurse. I was eager to learn and determined to grow in the field.

In December 2006, I proudly graduated from the University of Leeds with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

Over the years, I’ve continued to build on my knowledge, completing numerous additional training courses. Most recently, I’ve taken an exciting step into the world of facial aesthetics—something I’ve absolutely loved exploring.

I genuinely enjoy helping patients achieve healthy, happy smiles, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how this can boost their confidence. I’ve often been told I have a calm, gentle, and delicate approach to treatment—ensuring patient comfort is always a top priority for me.

With experience in both NHS and private practice settings, I’ve had the opportunity to support many nervous patients, helping them feel informed, safe, and comfortable throughout their dental journey.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband Tom, our 12-year-old daughter Ember, and our Miniature Dachshund, Minnie. We’re big fans of the outdoors and enjoy long walks, camping adventures in our T4 camper van, and staying active. I’m also passionate about fitness and have recently transitioned from cardio workouts to strength training.
